My first wine related event of 2015 will be in the UK, in fact at The Oval Cricket Ground, London! I’m delighted to say that I’ve been invited to attend the Liberty Wines (www.libertywines.ie) Grand Tasting (Trade) as part of the Bodegas Castaño (www.bodegascastano.com) delegation.
I’ll be in the UK 20th – 22nd January and I’m really looking forward to it as liberty have a fantastic portfolio of excellent wines, including, of course, those from Bodegas Castaño, DO Yecla!

Tucked away in Camino de Paris in Denia, next to the old Sidrería, you’ll find Mamúa where owner Richard devises his Tapas. But, which wines are best to accompany Spain’s traditional and now, internationally acclaimed, snacks?
Colin Harkness (International Wine Judge, Critic, Writer, Broadcaster and TV Presenter) will guide us through tasty suggestions in his inimitable fun and informative style!
We will taste 5 specially selected wines – a Cava; a White Wine; a Rosado Wine; and 2 Red Wines, each one chosen to complement the different Tapas with which they’ll be served!
There will also be a FREE Raffle to top off the evening! Places are limited and we are expecting a full house, so please book early!!
