What a fantastic first tasting menu and wine pairing for us last night. We had a really lovely evening, it was a great atmosphere and the food and wine flowed. A special thanks to our guest speaker and wine expert Colin Harkness for his wonderful commentary and a big shout out to our A team who were so organized, efficient and ensured everything ran smoothly, Daniel, Harry, Dan, Anas, Kim & Gaynor

Hi Col,   Wow! Very many thanks for a wonderful evening at Ca Pepe yesterday. A special evening well up to your usual standard with a superb location, fantastic food with superlative service and of course, exceptional wine to complement the food (as you’d expect from you).   Ros and I enjoyed ourselves enormously as did all the others on our table. We really must return to Ca Pepe soon. Incidentally, are those wines available on their wine list?   Please keep me informed about any other similar events that you are planning. We’d love to come along.

In Support of Local Wines!

Due to the fact that I am blessed to have groups here from Sweden with Milagro that want to try the Spanish wines, and are lucky to know the best teacher in Spanish wines, Colin Harkness. I have tasted a lot of them and I am amazed that there is so few restaurants that keep the local wines on the list. Think the restaurants here in Javea should promote more of the fantastic wines in the region, and there is a lot of them. Take for example Enrique Mendoza Winery, Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola or Juan Piqueras, Bodega Mustiguillo – DOP El Terrerazo as some of the bunch. There are so many just a step outside our walls…. Have you for example tasted the “orange wine”” WOW!!! It will be BIG!! Elisabeth Holmstöm
