Gratefully received from CAVA, Moraira’s excellent Gastro Wine/Tapas Bar!

Hi Colin –

We just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for your help in hosting the two Christmas-themed wine tastings at our restaurant in early December. We wanted to showcase our wines and tapas and your involvement certainly helped us reach new customers.  Your knowledge and enthusiasm in explaining the attributes of the wines and how they complemented the matched tapas were greatly appreciated by the full house.  We have already received repeat customers as a consequence and, as you know, further bespoke tastings are on the way.
Once again, many thanks from all of us at Cava and here’s to the next one!

Akira Charity – Comment Gratefully Received Following Cheese and Wine Event, Restaurante Salamanca, Jalón

Akira would like to say a massive thank you to Colin who helped us make our wine tasting charity event a huge success.

The event was held at the Restaurant Salamanca in Jalon and Colin organised a selection of five brilliant wines from Bodegas Castaño, DO Yecla and Bodegas Sierra Salinas, DO Alicante, as well as making a generous donation of several wines to the charity raffle.

The wines were accompanied by five different cheeses too, and Colin shared his knowledge of both the wine and cheese, talking everyone through the tasting sessions. Many commented on his professionalism and enjoyed the evening, and by the time they left, knew a little more about wine. An excellent evening and you helped our charity raise 635 euros – so thank you!

La cata fue un exito en cuanto a participacion y organicacion la gente se fue muy contenta y con ganas de repetir otra vez,

las ventas tambien estubieron muy bien y la gente estuvo muy amable y muy simpatica.
¡Esperemos que la proxima cata que realizemos se igual o mejor que esta,cosa que no va a ser facil!
