Thank you again for a wonderful day out last Wednesday! We so enjoyed ourselves.

It was an excellent trip – again so brilliantly organised by yourself. We enjoyed the vineyard visit, look around the bodega, the wine tasting and the excellent lunch. Not to mention entertaining commentaries along the journey to and from Yecla!

Many thanks for a wonderful evening. It was probably one of the best we’ve had in ages: the wines were more than excellent and the food absolutely fantastic. All of it was lovely and I understand that you made my vegetarian goulash pepper and Claire the coq au vin and both were superb. Special thanks to [all].

Good Morning Colin,

Thank you for another superb wine tasting. And thank also to your lovely wife for the delicious tapas!

We already knew one couple at our table and met two more interesting couples, one of whom invited us to their wine group.

Up until the final red, I liked them all about the same, but think that one might have had the edge. I was also impressed about how they only shipped this when the temperature was suitable. I checked the Aalto website but it doesn’t look like they sell directly to the public from this, and the nearest distributor is in Denia. They have a “wine club” on this but you need an invite to join this. If you could persuade them to send me an invite that would be great!

Dear Colin, Claire,

We felt we couldn’t let the day end without sending a sincere thank you for inviting us to your wine and tapas event. SUPERB!! No other word for it. Great wines, great food, great company. You can rightly be proud of what you achieved. And should Claire produce recipes for the food provided we’ll be at the front of the queue. We’ll also be trying to source the wines which we really enjoyed.

We’ll keep an eye out for other events.

In the meantime, all the best for the future and hope to see you when we return.
