Mi amigo y colega Colin Harkness, es un reconocido experto de vinos Espanoles, y frecuentemente hemos trabajado juntos para presentar catas de vinos a clientes que hablan Ingles. El evento mas reciente fue presentado en mis establecimientos ubicados en Teulada: “Tapes, Tapes“(Bar de vinos y tapas), “A Catarlo Todo“ (Tienda de vinos), y “Diversus“(Tienda de accesorios para vino); para inaugurar Diversus, y celebrar este nuevo Centro de Excelencia en todo lo relacionado con vinos.

Como fue previsto, la tarde fue un gran exito! Tuvimos nuestro maximo numero de clientes e incluso tuvimos que rechazar algunas reservaciones, porque no habia suficiente espacio. En su inigualable estilo, Colin hizo la presentacion de cada vino espectacularmente, creando el perfecto balance, informando y entreteniendo a los clientes. El y yo recibimos muchos comentarios positivos de las personas alli presentes, los cuales dijeron que habian disfrutado su tarde de vinos elegantes, super tapas y diversion! Las ventas posteriores de vinos fueron buenas y estoy seguro que ahora tengo nuevos clientes, los cuales obtuvimos gracias a esta fabulosa tarde!

Espero hacer arreglos pronto para otra cata similar, y poder reunir nuevos clientes asi como mantener nuestros clientes regulares; por supuesto!

His approach was very refreshing in that he really wanted to give the time to see all of our offer and to experience as much as he possibly could to get a proper understanding. Bodega Visits with Colin Harkness

Every time you publicise a trip to a bodega, I check my diary to see if I can possibly come along – they are all such fun. Quite apart from travelling with a jolly crowd of fellow wine-lovers, we always get to see such wonderful countryside. It makes a lovely change not to be driving and of course, it means that I won’t have a problem with the boys in blue – or green for that matter. For me, the best bit is the actual tour of the bodega. You always seem to take us to such picturesque bodegas run by the nicest people all of whom are able to convey their absolute love of the process and, of course, the final product. I have to say that your extensive knowledge of wine is a great help too especially during the tasting and I’ve learned so much about what to look for when choosing a wine. Thank you for all your bodega trips; I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of them – long may they continue. Ros.
