I wanted to thank you for the excellent wine tasting that you hosted at Pepe la Sal’s yesterday. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You introduced each wine very professionally and taught us beginners what we should be smelling and tasting – it’s strange that once we knew what we were looking for, thanks to your patient explanations, suddenly we found the taste you had described. We thought the display area was well planned and we were delighted to have been present and actually went on to purchase some of the excellent wines you had introduced us to. We’d certainly enjoy attending any further such events.
Actually, we were lucky to have been there at all. Although we regularly shop in Pepe la Sal, there had been no publicity for the event and we would certainly have missed it had we not read about it in your regular column in Costa Blanca News. Thanks again and we look forward to the next tasting.
