Hi Colin,
Just to confirm that I am coming on the Cava Trip on the 18th November, and to say how much I enjoyed last week’s trip.
The bodega visits were excellent, wonderful tapas with our tasting at Marqués de Murrieta and a fabulous lunch at Muga – we were really spoiled! Finca de los Arandinos was a different hotel experience with amazing rooms with lovely views, and fabulous dinners with wines from their integral bodega. Quite an experience!
This second hotel was really good, great food and wine, and it was good to catch up with a few people from previous trips and to meet some new ones too.  How are the plans for Argentina coming on?

La Rioja Wine Trip

Hi Colin,

Just a short email to say how much we enjoyed the trip to Rioja. Thank you for all your hard work and organisation.

A super, rather more than ample, lunch at Bodegas Muga, with excellent wines, of course!

If we might make a suggestion for future trips; would it be possible not to have a big lunch and dinner on the same day? We struggled on Friday evening and I know that others did! I realise that the conflict between hotel and bodega bookings may make this difficult to achieve.

Talking of future trips, an early sight of a draft program would ensure that we are not booked up for trips next year.

Looking forward to the next one!

Telitec Tasting Tour with Blu Too!

Hi Col,
Very many thanks for last night’s wine tasting at Timon. Lovely location, excellent tapas and super wines. Brilliant cava, gorgeous albariño whitened two fabulous reds. All good stuff. Can’t wait for the next one.
By the way, you might tip off the owner of Timon that he didn’t need to dress so formally for your wine tasting!
