Bay Radio’s May 2011 On-Air Wine Tasting!

Our very popular (approximately 50,000 listeners on Bay Radio and by internet www.bayradio.fm ) live wine tasting for May will take place between 12:00 hrs – 13:00 hrs, Sunday 8th May.

You are invited to enjoy the programme and even take part by calling the studio and asking questions/making comments etc.

As usual, Noelle, Co-Presenter (with hubby, Bob), will be giving details of the week’s recipe and I’ll be there to suggest wines that will accompany the dish).

For me, food and wine combinations make a meal that much better and I’ll be making some suggestions which I hope will enhance your enjoyment too!

Dolce Divas

A very special evening is in store for those who attend the Copas y Tapas night at the newly opened and under new management, Restaurante Ca Pepe, Moraira, on Wednesday 4th May, starting at 20:00 hrs.

Two glasses of wine or cava plus five gourmet tapas will be included in the 20€  price, plus of course music throughout!

Baritone Andy Headford

This eveing is all about duets! Andy Headford, respected Baritone and leading light of Amateur Dramatics and Musicals,  will be joining Claire Post, Soprano of Dolce Divas; also Pianist Kirsty Glen will demonstrate her significant singing talent with Claire; plus there will be piano, flute and accordion duets.

Music will range from Classical, through Songs from the Shows, to Romantic Chill-out Music.

Free Wine Tasting @ Sol Park, Moraira!

Sol Park, Tennis Club and Restaurant, Moraira, are holding their annual Free Wine tasting Event, which showcases Local Bodegas as well as wineries from several of Spain’s well known wine making areas.

Entry is from 14:00 hrs – 20:00 hrs on Thursday and Friday 5th and 6th May. There are usually some tapas to enjoy as well and, as I’ve enjoyed these events many times in the past, I’ll be there too! See you there!
