Wine Tasting, Javea, Costa Blanca

HOT OFF THE PRESSI’ve just confirmed another wine tasting at Javea Port’s Wine Merchants,

Bodega Puerto
(Same side of road as Mas y Mas, nearer to the sea!)

Thursday 23rd April

We’ll be tasting 5 wines – a sparkling wine; a rosado, a white and two reds.

There’ll be some nibbles and, as usual, the opportunity to buy not just the wines we’ll be tasting, but all other wines in the shop – and at a discount too!

The price of the super evening’s entertainment is just 10€

Times: 6:45pm for a 7pm start.

DO Toro & DO Rueda – coming soon!

Impressive selection of wines from Bodegas Prado Rey!

I’m really looking forward to the coming week – I’m taking 29 wine enthusiasts on a five day trip to Segovia, Toro and Rueda. We’ll be visiting Bodegas Fariña (one of the esteemed sponsors of this site!) and Bodegas Prado Rey, respectively – and we’ll throw in a bit of history and culture too!

Blevins Franks Wine Tasting

I’m delighted to have been asked to present the now annual Blevins Franks Wine Tasting at the Denia Marriott Hotel, on Wednesday 18th March 2015.

We will be tasting wines in pairs: Sparkling Wine; White Wine; Rosado Wine; Red Wine; plus a Mystery Wine!

There are various themes running throughout the tasting and clients will be encouraged to make comparisons between the different wine styles.

Should be an excellent night – but sorry, it’s by Blevins Franks invitation only!

Wine Tasting Dinner May 2015

I’ve arranged a super Wine/Pairing Dinner at Moraira’s Swiss Hotel (Costa Blanca, Spain) on Friday the 8th May.

We will be enjoying a gourmet four-course dinner, each course being paired with a different wine from Bodegas Castaño:

Delighted to have been co-opted onto the Bodegas Castaño Team!

Plus, the wines will be presented, in English, by Señor Daniel Castaño himself!

And that’s not all – throughout the evening we will be able to listen to beautiful music performed by the equally beautiful duo, Dolce Divas (www.dolcedivas.net)!
