Good news – thanks for the reply, Hugh and Beverly. He’s a real character – and his wines are very good. My second-favourite was his white; favourite, though very limited supply, and a one-off was a red called Trufes (I think) superb! If you have the chance, ask for a taste!

Hi Brigitte and Dorian. great to hear from you, particularly with such kind comments! All travel has been completely above board – we left at the end of Dec. when there were no special entry requirements into France, from Spain. Then, from France to Italy, we only needed a negative Covid test, which we had, of course. We seem to have been very lucky with our timing! I do hope you can return to Spain sometime soon!
